Will/When will we hear about Minecraft reaching 100 million?

End of 2014 0 0%

1st Half 2015 2 6.25%

2nd half 2015 3 9.38%

1st half 2016 5 15.63%

2nd half 2016 1 3.13%

2017 6 18.75%

Never 14 43.75%

So as of April this year Minecraft sold 54 million copies (last updates had PS3 around 3m, 360 around 12m and PC around 15m).

Since then Minecraft has not slowed down, and has released on XB1, PS4 and Vita.

Can we expect a 80m announcement year end?

Our X1 and 360 get new shipments twice a week at my Walmart. It is the main game I see besides GTA and Pokemon.

Really is amazing! My kids love it so much they will spend hours just watching youtube videos and they want minecraft toys for xmas. My oldest even plays Battlecraft on 3DS.

I would say def. by the end of next year. One more holiday.

Would you not agree that at the time of that thread the X1 version was doing bad?

It was never selling bad at all. Minecraft is known for its legs and the Xbox one versions first week was only for North America not to mention it was already release digitally last month.
