Just go to a public funded campaign finance. Make Lobbying illegal. Most big problems solved.

Voting is too inefficient, and in the current system requires the use of force to back up its outcomes. I'd rather live in a polycentric society that doesn't entail force and voting is used in those instances where it is not inefficient. As it is now, the best orders in our world are spontaneous, and created by voluntary interactions between individuals (i.e the elimination of destitution for 80% of the world through markets.) Voting on mandates has never achieved the same results that voluntary interactions have, and it never will. Sorry human beings, no number of you are able to control the lives of others without crappy outcomes. It doesn't matter if there is one ruler, two rulers, ten rulers, a million, or everyone ruling everyone else. It will never bring a cohesion like voluntary interactions do. I have hope that in some future a world that largely rejects force will exist, just as we now have a world that largely rejects chattel slavery.
