Forgot about this game. Going to get it when it comes down in price. I've put over 500+ hours into Civ5 and probably over 1,000 hours into Civ3.

Ewww... Just noticed Alpha Centauri was published by EA.  That is disgusting and probably why it isn't on Steam.

Having played every Civ at their launch and continued playing Civ 4 for years and have been playing Civ 5 still.

I made the mistake of downloading the demo. I was so bored with the game, I now didn't go buy it. Having talked to a few others who played the demo, they did the same. Having talked to a few who bought the game, they seem to like it, but not overly impressed.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. I'll probably get it eventually, but between the feedback and the demo I'm not rushing to get it.
