You think calling someone a console warrior instead of fanboy avoids you a ban? It's the same thing.

Who in this thread is defending 900p/720p? I see YOU and that guy with the dog avatar.

I have nothing to be stressed about. My games are 1080p on my PS4. PS4 is winning every single week in sales, in all territories. I don't have to defend anything at all. I don't have to make excuses for my console of choice.

(BTW, "console warz" are part of every discussion. If you don't like that then please leave the forum or you'll have to deal with a lot more "console warriors" like me.)

Well to be honest, no, it wasn't my attention to avoid a ban or to avoid calling you a fanboy because I think they are two different things. I don't think it's inherently bad to be a fanboy. There are plenty of level headed, logical posters here who would probably readily admit they are fanboys. I think the word is outlawed here because it's typically used a negative way, kind of like how I used console warrior and was justifiably banned for it.

Nowhere in this thread has anyone "defended" 900p or 720p. And if I must have 1080p in a game, I will either play my Xbox One (where most of the games are 1080p), play my PC (which is where you should be playing if you care so much about resolution), or my Wii U, which has a handful of 1080p games. And when the PS4 gets some games I consider worth playing, I will buy a PS4 and then I can play 1080p games on my PS4 as well.

But the discussion (from my end anyway) is only about sniping in various resolutions in Call of Duty and how irrelevant it is. I already gave an example of how a 1080p resolution might be better for sniping in another particular shooter (Sniper Elite), so it's not like I am defending anything.
