I have no idea what Chinese ppl like about videogames. I know Japaneses like Jrpgs, Americans FPSs and Europeans love fifa and cod. No clue about china x)

According to MyMuro they like a variaty of games.  Halo, MMO's, and strategy games are popular there though, i do know that much.    MyMuro basically said they just appreciate good games and arent constricted like the stubborn japanese.  His words if im remembering that correctly

The 100k figure was quoted by SMG's vice president.  On a side note he predicts huge profits for the video game industry in 5 years.  He also states that it is their goal to move 1 million Xbox Ones in the first year.  Owning stake in PS4 and Xbox One makes SMG the sole winner in this competition.

So a 100K start is about 2/3 of the UK launch. So extrapolating out my arse means roughly weekly baseline along similar lines as UK. I don't know what to expect in the UK between now and mid-November, other than progressively climbing sales, but the UK 1 year sales might get pretty close to 1 million.

I think the general consensus is that this is great news.  It also opens the door for PS4 launch numbers speculation in China as well. If the Xbox One is a success, it would be hard to imagine that the PS4 wouldn't be one as well.   It doesn't look like Sony "needs" another big market, but it looks like they might get one anyway. 

better than expected. this is only good for console gaming.

They better starting investing in some more online RPGS!

With Japan's console market looking questionable and the Wii U not pulling its weight, I think the industry as a whole is looking like it can do with another big market.
