3DS has the best games and that is what I meant by "what the sales say" In other words, Quality over Quanitity Also, most Vita games appeal to a very small market, while 3DS has games in practically every genre, maybe if Vita had a library and a price like 3DS it would be at 44m to! |
Yeah... No. Vita has better quality* too. It's just not exclusive.
Though again. Not the question being asked. Please stop changing the goal posts.
*this is entirely subjective. Personally vita line-up is much more diverse and fits my tastes better. Also supported by more software with meta of 70 or better despite being on the market a shorter period of time.
Let's stop derailing this with symantecs now to try and twist a Nintendo win. By the time the generation has finished I expect both PS4 and XB1 will have the bigger lineups.

If they aren't exclusives then why not just play them on a PS3/4?

So let's take a look at numbers:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Wii_U_software
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_PlayStation_4_games
Wii U - 409 games
PS4 - 287 games
Maybe for you 287 > 409 and 409 > 287 is just my opinion and like you said you don't share
I usually judge a console overall by its Marguee titles, but I do think the "indie" titles add alot to a library as a whole. Diversity is a good thing, and indies provide that.
End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)
Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases
360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak
PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
To me exclusives really only count.
It is either the ' number of games' (including shovel ware/ports/re-releases/etc)
or 'the number of exclusive games'

You cannot be serious.
-What if you're travelling by train every day and that's all the gaming time you have?
-What if you move around a lot because of your job and can't own big things like tvs, consoles etc because it makes moving out difficult.
-What if you live with your parents and don't have your own tv?
-What if you wanna game when you're in bed, because you can't fall asleep?
-What if you wanna game for 5 minutes? With the ps3, it's a much longer process to turn it and wait for the game to load. You also can't pick up from where you left off. In some cases you need to keep playing until you reach a save point. With a handheld, you put it on standby mode and play again in 5 hours from exactly where you off.
-And let's not forget how some games work better on handhelds.
-or the fact that gaming on handheld is much cheaper (at the moment I can't afford a ps4, but I could buy another vita/3ds. If I wanted to game on ps3/4 I'd also need a good/expensiev tv).
There's a thousand more reasons but hopefully you get the idea.

Because I spend 4 hours a day travelling. Vita satisfies that with great gaming. 3DS with it's barely PSP standard technology does not. Quite simple really.
Don't get me wrong, I love Mario Kart 7, Link Between Worlds etc on the go. But the 3DS lineup just can't touch the Vita's for a full fat gaming diet.

So your "oppinion" is that the PS4 got more games than the WiiU today (including virtual consoles etc..)?
But what about actual facts and numbers? Interresting...

xbox one will have the moste after universal apps. u get all the "games" from windows store
right now its the wii u (because of the wii games, and even without them)
