Forums - Sony Discussion - PSP emulator on a PS4?

My PSP broke and I really don't feel like getting a Vita anyway for the games I already played so I think it would be pretty good for me to have PSP games playable on a PS4 with better graphics and performance also better controller perhaps. Anyone here knowledgeable how possible this year or probably next year? Considering PS4 is powerful enough to emulate PSP, I feel like they could do it next year along PS1 emulation although PS1 could probably be heading this year. Am I alone on this?

Around the Network

You can play psp games on ur PC or android/ios phone by using an emulator called ppsspp and the games look epic at 1080p... And I am sure that Sony will make them compatible eventually on the ps4

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

You could get a playstation tv, that would play all your digital psp games. Otherwise, i very much doubt sony is planning anything like that...

Eh I don't like ps tv. I'd rather have it on PS4 considering I already have one and I am sure enough even that it'll run and feel better on DS4.
