I've noticed a lot of people here say the Wii U is doing much better then ps4 in Japan.but according to Vgchartz this week

PlayStation 4 sold 6912 copies.

Wii U sold 6776 copies.

The PlayStation 4 sold more then Wii U.

So why so many people say the Ps4 is doing so badly while it sells more then Wii U?

I would love to get some answers :)

Update is that the topic has changed since the japan sales have changed.

It barely outsold the Wii U.

The reason why is because the ps4 isnt doing the same amount of sales the wii u had during boths its time frame

Yes. the gap is not that big.
It doesn't change the fact that it sold more.

well the way it is selling will take it another year to catch up(unless  it gets kh3 and ff16 in 2014  or mk8,hyrule warriers, and bayo 2 dont boosts wii u sales in japan)

The PS4 is at this point about 3 months old... it's still in that shiny new phase where we should be expecting great sales.  Instead, it is barely ahead of a system that is over a year older, and is itself selling poorly.  So, yeah, the PS4 is doing very bad in Japan.

PS4 is decreasing each week and is selling less than WiiU when launches aligned.

WiiU should be on top next week and then greatly ahead when MK8 releases.

PS4, of course, just needs Japanese focused content.

Yes, PS4 barely outsold Wii U this week but still consistently and easily since PS4 launch.

But MK8 may change that, at least during a few weeks.

Yeah but by less than 150 units.
