i coudnt get into it mostly because the combat is so damn repetitive X_X

anyway i think spec ops the line was in the IGC, u should check it, i think is awesome

Spec ops the Line was awesome but it was hardly underrated. It was on many reviewers top 10 lists deservedly so!

Combat system made me hate this game so much, that i didnt even bother finishing. Broken completely and totally repetitive. Having to do combos required insane precision and on top of that, enemies jumped on you from all directions. I kept dodging all the time without even been able to land a proper hit...

And that about sums up my feelings for the game.

Games so bad they must be played include: Shaq Fu, Revolution X, E.T., Vampire Rain, Bullet Witch, Ninjabread Man, Avatar: The Last Air Bender(Press B for 4 mins and get 1000 achievement points for XBox 360), etc.

I actually likes Vampire rain. Many people criticized the stealth. For me, I gave up in the part where you are using guns as I kept on failing the mission due to one of my guys dying. So dumb. The Stealth part was pretty fun though!

Yep I'm playing and enjoying this game too on my PS+ subscription. The soundtrack is modern Sci-fi bliss. I bet most people play Ps3 without a nice 5.1 set-up, shame shame. Oh yeah playing it on my projector and it has a very nice cinematic feel too it. Sci-fi story fans need to check it out, they'll get it.

Fun game. Eunique, but by no means perfect. A fun game and ride especially for those getting it for PS plus. Xbox only gamers might consider it if there is a really, really good sale. lol

Sci-fi story fan, check
Projector, check
5.1 sound system, check

Still average game, average plot and preachy ending. The soundtrack was indeed above average.
I got it back with ps+ (traded it in after finishing it) but don't know if I'll ever boot it up again. Gameplay often felt like a chore. It would make a decent sci-fi movie with better writing. (Inception does it already in way)
Read this after you finish the game http://venturebeat.com/2013/09/08/robbing-peter-to-pay-paul/ sums up how I felt after finishing it.

The setting was perfect, graphics and characters, although the combat was average. One of the only games with a female Lead in 2013, its a shame it didn't crack the one million mark, fingers crossed for a squeal!

well, i dont know how well received spec op the line was, all i can say is that i really like it. Never said it was underrated though.

I'll get to it at some point, but my expectations are not high. I've seen way too many videos showcasing its janky fighting system. And the concept of rewriting memories that was hyped up to high heaven isn't even a big part of the game. Most underrated? I don't think so.
