Now all that is needed is a $50 price drop. $249.99 bundle with MK8 would put the Wii U in to the area of respectable sales figures.

If you want NSMBU, then yeah that's the better move. If you want MK8 but don't want NSMBU, then the MK8 bundle is best option.

they should only sell mario kart as part of a wiiU bundle. they'd double their wiiU hardware sales in just over a month's time i'd bet. :P

Why?

The gamepad was suppossed to be a the standout differentiating factor. But Nintendo is barely using it. Hence cannot sell it.

Why sell an expensive gamepad when you're not using it? At least without it they are making some profits.

It is more than obvious that Nintendo will release a MK8 Bundle with Wii U and this looks just very legit. Maybe it won't be like this, but it will happen, no matter what you say. Gosh ..
