Both France and Finland adapted euros among the firsts. Latvia joined this year to the eurozone and Estonia did that three years earlier in 2011. As a regular visitor in Estonia, I have noticed some minor price growth in daily products. Though I bet the prices would have risen eventually even without currency change.

Id say having a net worth of a million+ will do it.

Like if you spend your life savings on a $500 000 house down payment. Pay off the mortgage and given standard appreciation rates, it may very well be worth a million in 20 years with a paid mortgage.
