There was a really good assignment I had to do in college for technical writing class a few weeks ago. We had to make an internet resource guide relevant to our major. Mine was Mathematics, but I saw some really good computer science IRGs as well. This is kind of like it:p

Where do you want to start? The code is useless unless you understand what it does. What kind of games are you interested in making?

I can program a calculator, aside from that, I've been working on Java, and C++.  Not completely there yet though for either language, so much left for me to learn.  

I loved programing my calculator!

Now that was legit software development.
