This is where Tropical Freeze’s biggest flaw is.  It lacks the variety that was so popular in Rare’s DKC. Whether it be the scenery and being in bee hives or animal buddies helping you out.

Clearly not a behive.  It's the Honeycomb Hideout (from the 80's breakfast cereal). Nice try, though.

Unfortunately the game is far too short with just 6 worlds with roughly 6 levels in each world.  It was a huge letdown finding out that just when the game was becoming more of a challenge it ends.  At least the levels are slightly extended compared to older games.

Nice review. But I'm curious about the duration, how many hours of gameplay the game has?

Didnt time myself but the main game felt very short. prob beat it in around 5-7 hours would be my guess.  It does have a good amount of replayability with collectables to gain a few more levels(or through secret routes) and the time attack is a lot of fun if youre competitive.

Wasnt really my point but yes TF had a bee level that must be unlocked.  I should have worded it as ( whether it be bee hives, carnivals, ships, temples, swamps, or briar filled)  I put them in the video to portray what i was trying to say.  TF didnt really stray away from the jungle "much".

That would be my fault for not writing it out instead of just putting it in the video though.

That's the beauty of the Wii U!  Just go to the activity log and it'll tell you how much you played each day.  Check it out and let us know.

Is this where I can jump in and say that I did a video review of DKC:TF, too?

I'm always glad to see more people doing Nintendo stuff, we need a "Wii U Owner Marketing Force" team, lmao

Anything to help =) just felt weird that you'd write the actual score in the video review but not voice it...

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
