I will be posting the cumulative market share for the 8th Generation Consoles here based on the VGChartz Data, and I will update it as frequently as available. The following tables also include scientifically calculated estimates based on the 7th Generation and currently available data with pretty good arguments for XB1 and PS4; however, I don't have sufficient data on the WiiU and Japan side, so the estimates regarding Japan (for all consoles) or WiiU (for all regions) are a bit iffy at the moment, and they will be updated by time. However the rest of the estimates are sound. If you are interested in the rivalry between XB1 and PS4 only, for which I have much better estimates, check out the following link.
