This really shows how important E3 is to consumer impressions/decisions.

Add to that: price, simplicity and power

And Nintendo with the Direct... weirdest decision ever.

I'm sure they will have a show this year again.

BTW next week UK numbers are UP too... hardware and software.

Xbox One is in some serious trouble. It's one thing to get beat in Europe, it's another to be getting beat by a pretty decent margin in the U.S. It's only beating the Wii U by 34k per week and with Donkey Kong coming out I suspect it won't be beating it at all. Xbox One price drop coming sooner then I expected. 3DS is doing ok, Nintendo needs to get some more software out in the U.S.

Tomb Raider Definitive was a waste of time and money for Square Enix. 60k copies between two consoles week 1 for a game that is going to have almost no legs. Those are Wii U port numbers. When these companies will get the point that people are not going to rebuy a game that they have already played I will never know.

PS4 is crazy! Sub 200k if it released in japan is amazing, almost everything is up lol! I dont kno why WiiU is up though? or Vita? I didn't notice any games coming out?

WiiU is down 100 units and Vita is up 80 units.  Statistical noise.

The love affair of North America with PS4 and the dumping MS is motivating and a bringer of hope.

Yeah, this is all due to E3. Obviously

I don't own either console but this has everything to do with the initial console reveals and E3.     Xbox / Microsoft is now the anti-consumer brand, and Sony is where it's at.

As a side note, does anyone know when Microsoft are releasing in the rest of the European countries?

That was their reveal not e3, thay actually had a solid e3. Price, power is more a factor here, cheaper console is more powerfull is a major issue, ms put themselves in a corner.

Surprised by Tomb Raider Definitive Edition sales. Guess people are willing to spend $60 on slight upgrade of last gen game.

I'm guessing it's mostly ,if not only, people who don't own the game for the previous gen. consoles or PC.
