No... and neither can you. My whole point is you are high-fiving yourself like you can.

I'm using the data of plenty of PS4 in stock across NA to assume that it's number one and selling great but isn't selling epic, record-breaking barnbusters.

You are using the data of ZOMG Sony DOMINATZORS to extrapolate that SONY! SONY! SONY!

I'm not sure I'm right, but I'm definitely not sure you are, either. I don't mean to render your position in such a silly way, but... well, I sortof do.

How am wrong? no data for end of january.

I think next data will be bigger than this week... and the future adjustments will make PS4 numbers better... plus NPD will show a ratio over 1.5:1.

Do you really think that though?

Current VGC data shows the ratio 1.01:1. Even if we ignore the first 4 days it's still just 1.08:1.

Will we get a crow eating thread if the PS4 does not hit 200k next week?

Of course not. I think ethomaz is making a big mistake by not just enjoying the clear first place of his console of choice for what it is and trying to spin it into something even greater. He doesn't HAVE to be disappointed.

Yes many places have PS4, in the US.

But it's still sold out in most others places and inline resellers like Amazon.com. Even amazon.co.uk is sold out since yesterday I think, though they had received a big shipment of KZ bundles, gone in a few days.

Except at amazon.es I think it's very hard to find (at normal prices) PS4s in Europe. 525€ the less expensive reseller PS4 (without game) on amazon.fr, 30% more expensive than normal.

We are still very far away from normal stock having met its demand.

After NPD? Sure... VGC trends to adjust data... this week for example seems way low.

PS4 is already leading by 30k January... one more week with 30k.

Ethomaz....let me be real with you for a sec.

It isn't about supply increasing. It is about demand slowing to non-holiday levels, thus allowing supply to catch up. This "SOLD OUT" frenzy couldn't last forever and frankly, it is amazing it took an entire month after the holiday period for PS4 fever to cool to acceptable levels.

But you still won. PS4 is still the undisputed #1 selling console anyway. Stop trying to elevate the console to levels b3yond what it is. Your winning, so a little grace would be a nice change from you.



Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Now can you explain how I'm wrong if there are no data for the end of January yet... they are saying I'm wrong because the sales at the end is January didn't received a boost...

I'm a dumbass that can't understand this logic.

PS. I don't want to see PS4 sold out (it is yet... Best Buy received a new shipment)... I want to see Sony supplying everybody that wants a PS4 to have even better sales.
