Q3 results breafing came and news are not good, again.

Release schedule for the not-succesful Wii U console is barren. Is it worse than anything we have seen before? Maybe. The bad news is that bad news are get carried since last year when Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze got delayed until february. Many speculated that the decision was in line with the release schedule for 2014 that foreshadows another drought.

Despite Reggie-Fils Aime, clown of Nintendo of America, promised their consumers that there won't be again another drought during 2014, and Saturo Iwata, the Nintendo Direct guy, stated that they will release a steady stream of games after last summer to "keep the Wii U momentum", the console in the middle of another drought.

It was clear yesterday that there wasn't any momentum and the ship sailed. The first drought, wich was better than the one this year, affected the Wii U perception on the consumer side and lost confidence as a reliable product.

Now, the next Nintendo high profile game has got a release date. Mario Kart 8 for Wii U is coming until May 2014. And that's just Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze for February and Mario Kart 8 for May. This will surely help to keep the momentum, but the negative one. And the release schedule is not helping. Only games like Bayonetta 2, X and Super Smash Bros are expected to be released for 2014. We have to take in count, that this console is not the only one with droughts, as the recently launched next gen systems are in between one, but unlike Nintendo, those ones will get third party support.

Hardware and Software forecast were lower this time, and looks like expectations to reach at least GameCube sales must be too.
