Forums - Gaming Discussion - can we finally agree the wii was a fad

After looking at recent sales, of both nextgen consoles and looking at the wiiu, its just what i expected, people bought the wii to try out motion controls which were fresh and fun at the time, now nobody really cares anymore and the core market that ended up buying the wii probaby saw it as a console that was a generation behind 360/ps3 interms of graphics, online play and games, and thought wtf is is this crap, i should have bought a 360/ps3.

I thought this was old news. It was confirmed at least 4 years ago.

5. Resident Evil VII
4. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
3. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
2. Horizon Zero Dawn
1. Super Mario Odyssey

Flavin adenine dinucleotide?

This was established in 2008 already. No console has sold that good and died that fast. That is the definition of a fad.

take off the nintendo fans that played mario galaxy, zeldas, metroid, ssbb and xenoblade(like me).
but in the majority, yes.(im also brasilian)

doesn't matter if it was a fad or not. Nintendo made money. lots and lots of money.
