If you browse Marvelous Interactive Japanese website, you will notice a small note in MMV's President's blog.

MMV President, had a small party to celebrate No More Heroes sales in the world. They also received some sort of Achievement price from Famitsu for this game.

He states that the game sold 40 k in Japan, already 100k in America and that 160k copies have already been pre-ordered in Europe!

They are very happy with this state and they now expect the sales to hit more than 500 k copies.We are far from the 12k of Killer7 in Japan !  

As a reminder, MMV will also publish Ousama Monogatari (King's Story aka Project O), Legend of the River King and Oboro Muramasa Youtouden (by Odin Sphere's creators).

 

Not bad for such a niche game.

 Those titles mentioned, will do even better than NMH. Especially in Japan.

Pitty we Europeans have to wait a little longer to play this gem, good thing we get the superior version though. The PAL version is supposedly running smoother and has the unedited content ^_^

Please let Oboro Muramasa Youtouden come out soon, and let it be better than odin sphere.

Just so no one gets the wrong idea, I think odin sphere is great.

I thought that the PAL version was being edited though?? I thought that they were editing it because they didnt want it to get banned like Manhunt 2 did?
