I think this gen is gonna fail hard, period.  I don't care how many consoles are sold, due to the fact that the actual game content is dying now.

We used to have a variety of games being released every month.  Since the last gen, the amount of games and the variety is getting worse.  

So, the reality is, we have more news coverage over console sales now, because there isn't any news available for games.

How many games are released a week now?  How many were released per week 6 ot 7 years ago?

The console wars have killed gaming.

i dont think thats going to happen, or it would have already. I think these threads are made because they know they can get a rise out of Ninty fans. Nobody really cares that much about Vita to even get upset. Hell i have one and you could make threads all day, i most likely wont even click on them

Thats fine but when 90% of the threads on Sony's forum is about the Vita being doomed... It will get quite annoying don't u think? Same concept but for the wiiU... I don't even understand what people get out of it... They make people angry and what does that do for them?

No it wont, as i and others will simply ignore them. If you ignore people wont make them. They are not doing that with WII U they make these threads cause people DO respond to them.

We also have to remember that the expectations for WIi U was MUCH higher than that of Vita. A lot of people (myself included) never imagined that the Wii U would ever do these kinds of numbers so alot of crow was served the entire year.

Wel will see. As long as Ninty can survive and go back to the drawing board. People said the N64 and GC were failures, and I loved them just as much as their PS counterparts - albeit for different reasons. I get the sense it will be the same for me with respect to the PS4 and Wii U (well ... maybe not to the same extent. More 60:40 in favor of the 4).

Yes, WiiU and Vita are doomed. They have been for a while and they will be until the end of time.
