There's no way they're not gonna do a direct in May. Lot's of games in that month, and they need to talk about what they're gonna do for E3, which if like last year, means we'll be getting an E3 Direct in June.

If they talk about what they'll do at E3 in May... what are they going to show at E3? Which surprised will they have?

However, I do agree that they could "delay" the April Direct to the first, maybe even the second week of May to give some impulse to the games they'll launch that month.

But they won't show anything else, they'll save their cards until E3. They really need a good E3 show to, at least, try to give some confidence to their consumers.

Btw, i was cheking the dates for Nintendo Directs in 2013 and only twice did they broadcasted something after the 20th. Once in January (the famous Wii U Direct) and last year in November - where they had 2 for the month.

There`s really no better avenue than E3, for that. The more mainstream media will be there, so it`s a great place to reach the mass market consumer.

They aren't going to bring QoL aside from a short mention to E3. E3 is for games media.
