Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Oh yeah, baby! WW Wii-U!!!

I asked my wife if I could buy the Wind Waker bundle, and she said I didn't need another Wii U.....she didn't say my son couldn't have one though! :). Last one from Wally World!!! I should have been a lawyer.  HAPPY 6th BIRTHDAY DOC-HOLIDAY!!! DADDY LOVES YOU!!!

"Games are a trigger for adults to again become primitive, primal, as a way of thinking and remembering. An adult is a child who has more ethics and morals, that's all. When I am a child, creating, I am not creating a game. I am in the game. The game is not for children, it is for me. It is for an adult who still has a character of a child."

There is a thread with wiiu friends. Welcome!

Is it bad that you have one before I do?

WW HD seems to be quite the system seller.

I beg you, buy ZombiU. People who hate it are just complaining about the graphics. But everyone, or most, who played that game, said, that it is one of the best Survival-Horror-games since years. And I am one of these! It's just a great game.. And we need the support for a sequel :D

I may concider ZombiU. But I heard the controls are kinda bad... If I can try it before purchasing it, that'd be better.

Good stuff! You'll have to wait and let us know how the game is when you dive in. I've heard nothing but good things.

The game is splendid. The only thing that had aged badly from the original is the resolution, when played on a HD TV.
The game looks better than ever in 1080p. The new visual effects like bloom, and the more intricate shading makes the game look more regal.

Sometime, the models look more animated clay than cartoon though. But I like the effect.

So far, I enjoy it greatly, but it looks like the normal mode isn't exactly the same difficulty as the original. For some reason, I feel like the game is easier. O_o

I really enjoy having the menu being displayed at all time on the Gamepad, and how you just slide an item to whatever button you want to assign it... Very quick and intuitive.

So far, I'd say there's no doubt this is the definitive version of the game. Don't hesitate. Get it.

Now, guys, share your NN ID!
I need Nintendo friends. =P

you don't have to add people you don't know as friends. You can follow them and will be the same as twiter, you can read everything they post!

That's a really good approach on the friend list thing. Following people let you stay in touch with someone you met, without necessarily making things sour when you decide you don't want that person as a friend anymore... You add them only when you're sure you want them as your friend. I don't remember how many times it happened to me on PSN, where I'd add someone because we got along great during a few matches in a game, only to forget who the heck that nickname is a few weeks/months later.

Nah. It's not bad. I've been a Nintendo fan for longer than how old you are right now. =P

Back after playing a little more of the game, just to say that I really enjoy the Tingle Bottle feature. Makes it feel like players are connected with each others. I have found many worthless bottles, but there are also players relying on them to seek help from other players. I am currently helping someone find the Fire Arrows, and it feels great! =)
