so people are just making it up?
why did somebody post a schedule from a conference on 26-28 back in June?

No the conference is real.

They just used its existence as proof that the dGPU was also real.

You don't know who Albert Penello is?

He is the Sr. Director - Product Management and Planning for Microsoft.  

He leads planning for the Xbox One and Xbox 360.  He is one of two guys that most of the Xbox information has been coming out of lately.  

The date is September 20th for the tweet.  So the information about the Xbox architecture conference is coming very soon.  

Wait are we talking about build or the thing with Eurogamer the other day?

that tweet from penello was referencing the eurogamer article.

 

as far as i can tell there is no upcoming microsoft conference. people are confusing it with the one back in june.

Shit guys, my bad I totally didn't see the June in my link. That is such a huge fail on my part.

So let me backtrack a little here. When all of those MisterX rumor threads were popping up a couple of weeks ago, I seem to remember people talking about a special date that MS was going to reveal some things or "discuss" some more specifics of the Xbone. As in a separate date, after the AMD date. I guess I probably misunderstood what was just a small piece of rumor as something real.



I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.
