February 6, 2008 - The star of No More Heroes, ironically, enters the Hero Showdown ring to take on Devil May Cry 4's Dante in our latest installment of HS.

Star Wars nerd-turned-decapitating assassin Travis Touchdown and "Devil Trigger-happy" Dante are both quick and lethal killers, with a penchant for leaving bloody violence and bloodier corpses in their wake. With Devil May Cry 4 hitting consoles everywhere and making many a gamer happy, while No More Heroes is introducing IGN fans to the carnage homemade light sabers can wrought, it only makes sense for these two combatants to duke it out in the Hero Showdown arena.

Here's how it works: We break down each Hero's stats, tell ya how they'll bring on the hurt, and you vote in our poll for who receives said pain. Remember, only one of these badasses can win, and only you can decide the winner.

Let's do this:

First off, hope to god this is not a repost. Anyways, back to the thread, the hero showdown.

Last time we did this on vgcharts it was Link vs. Cloud. Link becoming the victor in the end. Now two new heros have entered the arena, who will win? Place your votes, its time for another Hero Showdown.

Dante Vs. Travis Touchdown

Dante:

Son of a mortal woman and a demon general (Sparda) who managed to lock away Satan.

Weopons include his ebony and ivory pistols and his fathers leagendary sword Sparda. Dont forget his supernatural demon powers which can destroy anthing.

A total smartass and cocky attitude, likes to repeat corny dialog. Stuckup nature makes him the perfect anti-hero.

Travis:

Unknown origin. Probably a stripper and some rich guy.

Weopons include his trusty beam katana, able to slice steel, and which can be upgraded to hold 5 separate light sabers. Oh and his deadly 1 to 1 wrestling skills.

Also a total smartass and cocky as hell. Hard to tell which hero is more full of himself.
