I am with you, I think 10 million is possible. Time will tell, I sure wish I had a time machine to fast forward to the next quarter result.

Well you said 7 million was the worst case, 8.5m was a given, and over 10 million was possible.  I agree that 3 million in Nov+Dec is possible, but I don't agree that it is the worst case scenario.

Also the 3DS in Oct 2011 was doing around triple what the Wii U is currently doing.  The 3DS did not do 9+ million in November and December 2011.

Actually, talking shipment numbers, 3 million is a lot more reasonable.  Especially since Nintendo seems to be trying to cram a dozen different bundles onto shelves.

Have you even thought about shelf space WW tho??? Why would retailers given more shelf space to WiiU than Xbox One and PS4? They won't, they're not. Wii and Nintendo overall has been relegated to the corner of my local supermarket, it's not getting extra shelf space, they're not going to order in loads of WiiU's.

So even if there were 7 million people that wanted WiiU this holiday, there won't be that many on shelves.

There was always a market ready and waiting for PS3. It also got a lot of third party support.

Well the Wii U probably has one, I mean Nintendo loyalists at least? I am sure there are a lot of people waiting to play Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash!
