Nice way of ignoring all the facts. Nintendo hardware had been in decline since the NES, gen after gen of focusing on their core userbase, with consoles that weren't weaker than the competition and yet their marketshare and total sales still declined. Yes a large portion of the Wii crowd won't be coming back but some will eventually buy a Wii U (some probably already did). There's no doubt in my mind the Wii U will do better than the GameCube and it most probably will outsell the N64, without the success of the Wii that wouldn't have been possible. |
they did great with the wii but had they made the console 50% the power of 360 and had online support, they would be doing amillion times better, imo they wont' recover from the wii, it was a one hit wonder but imo it will lead to nintendo being out the console race for good, look at what microsoft accomplished with the 360, thats how you do it, they were in no mans land and now they are a huge brand and will do great with the xbone, unlike the wiiu which is selling much worst then the gamecube, imo it wont beat the gamecube in sales, but we shall see who is right. i lso wanna add the even though nintendo market share was in decline, it was cause of there stupid mistakes, and horrible relations with thrid party's, it just not about power, to survive in this market if you have to everything right from power to price, to avertising, image and third pary support.
