I bet Nvidia already has all Volta chips lying around waiting to ship but they're waiting for AMD to make a move. Meanwhile they're working on the successor to beat AMD by years again.

Did I miss the news somewhere? Just read on Computerbase that AMD will officially announce Vega RX at the end of July at the Siggraph conference.

If the Lappy has only a 1080P or lower resolution panel then a Radeon RX 580 is fine. It's able to hang in there with the Geforce 1060 at-least. But only having 4GB Ram is shit, needs 8Gb at a minimum.

Vega can't come soon enough. Getting tempting to pull the trigger and get another two RX 580's if Vega doesn't hurry up.

Via a press release, Grand Theft Auto, Civilization and XCOM publisher Take-Two has announced that it has acquired Kerbal Space Program—that's the same Kerbal Space Program that scored 96% from PC Gamer back in 2015. Take-Two might own the I.P. now, but development hasn't been wrestled away from its creator, Squad, who will "continue to provide support and ongoing development for the title through game updates and expansions", including the forthcoming Making History expansion that will launch later this year.

That's so...random. I've been playing it on and off for last 4-5 years and it's a great game for all the folks who like to make stuff and space, but I have no idea what Take Two would do with it.

To begin with, they'll probably port it to consoles and maybe mobile. From there on, I really have no idea.
