Rising Storm 2: Vietnam, the multiplayer military shooter set in the sweltering jungles of Southeast Asia, is now live on Steam. Which also means it's time for a launch trailer featuring heavy-firepower gameplay backed by the obligatory psychedelic sounds of the '60s.

The side-scrolling puzzle-platformer Murasaki Baby was released in 2014 exclusively for the PlayStation Vita, and so naturally we didn't give it a whole lot of coverage. But the next project from developer Ovosonico, a "profound interactive adventure" called Last Day of June, is coming to the PC, and it looks like it could be a very memorable experience.

Developer Three Fields Entertainment was founded by a couple of former Criterion Games developers, and true to that, the company's first two titles are chock-full of action, explosions and, er, golf. Following on from Dangerous Golf and Lethal VR is the more familiar Danger Zone, which released yesterday. It's pretty much Burnout's celebrated Crash Mode turned into a standalone game.

You probably know Daedalic Entertainment for its sumptuously illustrated adventure games—The Whispered World, Memoria et al—but this first from Daedalic Studio West is instead a procedurally jumbled roleplaying adventure set in an "endlessly shifting" universe.
We liked the look of the game back in March of last year, but now The Long Journey Home has begun, which is to say it's out now. Here it is on GOG, and on Steam.

Take-Two might own the I.P. now, but development hasn't been wrestled away from its creator, Squad, who will "continue to provide support and ongoing development for the title through game updates and expansions", including the forthcoming Making History expansion that will launch later this year.

Just a couple of hours ago, Steven Messner detailed the new classes that will be added as part of Final Fantasy XIV's new expansion, Stormblood. It's an exhaustive read, and where you should head next after watching the following trailer, which shows off some of the expansion's new environments.
