It's a 21gb download, just an fyi before downloading =P.
I only owned the first game, but never did buy the second, that and I heard the Deathinitive edition of II was borked and never fixed.
So far this year it's been great for getting some free games like Bioshock 1+2, Skyrim and DS remasters for free.

Oh, I mixed both Darksiders because, somehow, I thought they remastered the first game first, not the other way around.
And that's quite and update, 21GB is a lot.

I don't think I've seen any PC footage of the 1st game's remaster, might do that in a while and see how it holds up compared to the original.
