Bally Astrocade... Also had a 2600.

Apparently the Astrocade came out in 77... though mine says it came out in 75....

which is weird... since it wasn't called the astrocade till the 80s.

I was playin that thing before i even had memories... literally. Like... my 2nd and 3rd earliest memories involve that system... apparently after i had played it for a while.

Not for the 2600 folks. We've seen too many companies rise and fall to call allegiance to any one brand.

At one point or another, my favorite console has been produced by Atari, Nintendo, Sega, Sony, or Microsoft. 

I think you're dead on.  The 2600 and older folks are usually beyond the grasp of brand loyalty, as

1) You kind of grow out of such things

2) There have been too many good games on too many consoles through all the generations that it would be nearly impossible at this point not to have stuck strictly to manufacturer forever and

3) I think people tend to gravitate towards what was popular in their youth

Commodore 64 (Woh to Ghostbusters game), although classed as a home computer...so otherwise, jump to SNES.

I suppose my first console was the NES, but the first thing I played games on was the PCJr.
