"She. Kicks. High". Slightly cringeworthy, but pretty funny.

Does anyone remember MS giving out 2 games and a controller to early adopters when they dropped the console price?

Apart from the 3DS Ambassador scheme - that's freaking unheard of.  And not digital content - but real "I can touch it" - physical goodies.

I was on the fence about MS up until that point, but that move (my gf at the times brother bought one at launch and got the early adopter/price drop bonuses), and actually playing a MP Halo match - made me go out and buy one. My PS2 got very little love after that.

Do you remember what games they included after the price drop?

@zorg1000

It was a Halo and dvd remote/dongle pack in. $400 AUD in Jul2002 If I remember correctly. I've got the box somewhere...

If you meant what 2 games did they give to early adopters after the drop - it was 2 titles from a list of 12 or so. Must have happened May/June 2002. Mostly first party - all exclusive titles.

After googling - "xbox price drop 2001 free games for early adopters"

This is the first relevant link I came up with, as I realised 11 years ago, a lot of people here would've been pretty young

- still looking for the list of titles....

in the linked thread I found this from a poster called flav -

This is the preliminary list of games that will be available for the early adopters free of charge. The final list will be up April 26th.

Amped
Azurik
Blood Wake
DOA 3
Fuzion Frenzy
Halo
Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee
NBA Inside Drive
Nightcaster
Project Gotham Racing
RalliSport Challenge

- and that seems prety close to what I remembered. I doubt the finalised list was altered too much.
