Xbox 720 Is Similar to PlayStation 4, Ubisoft Says

Ubisoft is quite proud of Sony's PlayStation 4 specifications and, while refraining from spilling any details, it mentioned that Microsoft's Xbox 720 is aligned with what Sony announced back in February.

Sony revealed to the world the PlayStation 4 recently, and more recently it shared other details at the Game Developers Conference last week.

Ubisoft is quite proud of the PS4 and was able to show off a live gameplay demo of Watch Dogs largely because it already had PCs with specifications close to those of the next-gen Sony console, according to Yannis Mallat, who talked with Eurogamerabout the new consoles.

While Mallat didn't reveal anything about the Xbox 720, he did say that the next-gen console from Microsoft would be "aligned with what Sony announced."

He also mentioned that social features and connectivity would be major aspects of the new devices.

"It's going to be connected. It's going to be social. It's going to be immersive. It's going to be interactive," he added.

According to recent rumors, the Xbox 720 will be revealed in May.

Where was I when the Specs were confirmed?

If it truly is May (which I still can't believe), it's going to be a 360 MTV tier unveiling where they just show the hardware and nothing else w/ no details or games considering E3 will be just the following month.

Maybe they'll play some Halo music or something too, but that'd be the extent of it.

Closer to 2/3rds the performance if we're going to be fair.

Off this one statement I have a strong feeling you know little about GPU's, CPU's, motherboards, HDD or SSD, or pretty much any other component that goes into a computer or console.  What makes this statement ridiculous is that not only do we not have a clue what GPU the NeXbox is but we don't even know the name of the NeXbox.  Somehow you know though? lol 

So you know the GPU in the PS4 is suppose to be capable of 1.84 tflops and similar to the AMD 7850 which is a midrange PC GPU.  As far as I'm aware not much else is known about the GPU in the PS4 so I doubt you even know the power of the PS4 either let alone the power of the NeXbox.
