well i paid 650euro for the PS3..when it had no games

Won't buy either system until they get down to $299, that's when I finally broke down and got my PS3. Wii U was the only exception I've made in that rule, where I got the Deluxe for $349, though you could argue that since it came with a game I was going to buy anyway, the price was really $289.

It all depends on the games available. If the launch games are similar to PS3's then it would have to be ridiculously cheap for me to buy it at launch. With two-three awesome games I'd go to $350 maybe $400.

I'm pretty sure I won't get the PS4 or Xbox 720 at launch.

I know what price to expect of the PS4....

...err idk, probably is worth 4 hrs of my pretax salary. 399-449 probably is a sweat spot?!

Here in Brazil we always pay double, like this:

- Paid 700 dollars on my Xbox360.

- Paid 600 dollars on my PS3.

- Paid 300 dollars on my PSP.

- 400 dollars on my 3DS.

- 550 dollar on my PSVITA.

So, I guess I will pay up to 800 dollars on my PS4, wich means you guys on the normal countries will pay 400.

Four hours? Not bad man, I make 2500 dollars a month here in Brazil, and I am a very well paid Brazillian. Being a gamer is a much bigger comitment here =D

However, real state rent is much cheapper here. I live alone in a two bedroom house, it costs 400 dollars a month.

400€ for PS3.

I'd consider the new Xbox if they give me 50 € on top of it when I get it. Assuming that I'll use it for 8 years online play would cost me 50x8=400 €. In case of a price hike due to inflation I demand 50 €.

I will probably get the PS4 sometime in the 9th gen, when it is really cheap, around $100. Will never get the Xbox 720.
