Why are Nintendo fans holding out for Grand Theft Auto anyway? There has never been any Gta game on a Nintendo console so why would that start now.

They've released games on most nintendo systems so the better question is why stop now? Even if gta v failed on wii u one failed wii u venture is not going to kill them. they have nothing to lose here.

One more thing to complete my year = senran kagura localization =D

They will lose nothing Except money!

Money they have enough of to justify testing the waters ;)

If it completely bombed hard then by all means their other games don't have a chance (gta being their biggest franchise and all). But even if it did fail you would likely be looking at mild failure because gta could sell on calculators.

Call of Duty, the biggest game this gen couldn't sell at least 500k on Wii U.

GTAV will bomb HARD on the WII U.

Call of duty is a launch title with no real incentive for a wii u look. It is heavily online focused and we all know what happens when you mix nintendo with online.

Gta however would have more incentive. IF (and I still don't believe that is why they delayed it) it was because of a day and date release people wouldn't have already passed the game by. The idea of a 'proper' gta on a nintendo system has more people who like it. Also being the version on the 'new' console would be another reason 360 and ps3 owners may choose that version (as someone above said). It would be enough to make the multiplat users (the people who own nintendo systems but don't buy multiplats on them) the confidence they need to upgrade. It would also launch when there is a higher install base. Therefore I don't think it would bomb HARD, just bomb. The audience on nintendo is there for gta and it would show if more took the option to buy it.
