Oh well. Guess I'll be waiting a bit longer for this game. I'm definitely purchasing for wii u.

Yeah, as long as it makes good use of the Gamepad features...which I honestly doubt right now.

Just because the game isn't made by Gearbox doesn't mean that it will be bad.

Demiurge Studios has been involved in the development of many good games.

I see your point, but you DO understand why most people would actually like to see it in Gearbox's own hands.

Oh well, at least they have experience in working with Gearbox. Let's just hope for the best^^

I haven´t been following news about the game, so the story is that we were all led to believe Gearbox was developing the Wii U version, is that right?

And that it would be clearly superior to other versions, yes.

To be fair, they never did promise a simultaneous launch. So sales might not be that impacted, since they've built a fair bit of hype amongst Wii U owners.

That might still be the case......right?

If it's been outsourced?

Who knows....maybe not graphically, but depending on whether the gamepad functions with the game are really cool, it might provide a better experience.

if they are delaying the WiiU version they have to be doing something different with the WiiU version, i mean why else would they delay it... the delay better be fucking worth it damn it..

Hasn't the Wii U version of this always been dated for after the PS3/360 versions? I know for sure that at least since E3 2012 they've consistently said the Wii U version will be later.

The Screamapillar is easily identified by its constant screaming—it even screams in its sleep. The Screamapillar is the favorite food of everything, is sexually attracted to fire, and needs constant reassurance or it will die.

Ever since randy pitchford over hyped duke nuken I've alway taken his word with a grain of salt. But I'm still looking forward to Aliens

Yes, I DO (why the capital letters?) understand, but even Gearbox has made mistakes and 'meh' games (like Samba de Amigo for the Wii).

Why were people expecting great graphics from Colonial Marines again ?

Not great graphics, but great atmosphere.

“We spent a lot of our preproduction time making this custom lighting system that plugs into Unreal Engine 3. We had to design something from the ground up that would give us the capability to create… all this tension, to create all these dynamic events and to recreate the look and feel of what we experienced growing up watching [Aliens].” - environment artist Chris Neely

Oh dear. I can cope with a delay, but this instantly goes down from a potential must buy to a maybe if it's been outsourced to a port house.

I always thought of this game as pretty much a Wii-U game and was expecting the experience to be far better there. I was also hoping for the graphics to be a tad better. We'll see if the game is worth the wait on the Nintendo platform. But the biggest deal is - will people care to wait or just buy the game for PS360? I'm sure this will hurt the sales on Wii U and this may be another huge nail in the 3rd-party-core-games-on-Wii-U's coffin.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.
