If you're going to talk about franchises you have to talk about ALL the games from a certain series. I could simply say that Mario Kart is a bigger franchise than CoD and point to Mario Kart Wii >>>> Any CoD game - but that would be ignoring ALL the other games. In reality CoD >>>> Mario Kart since there are a lot more CoD games that have sold 20m+ and there's really only TWO Mario Kart games that has sold 20m+

CoD Is bigger than Mario Kart when we take in to account ALL the game of the series (which is what a franchise is). So if you add up ALL LBP games (including the Kart game) and compare them to ALL of GoW games, which one has sold the most? That's how you compare franchises.

even though LBP sold great it was only because of bundles i know if it wasn't bundled it would probably sold less then 2 million.

Dude, you DO know the meaning of the word "franchise", right? Compare LBP 1+2 to GoW 1-3 to see thar GoW by all means is the bigger franchise.

Both are fantastic franchises God Of War has more notoriety since it started out at the end of the last generation when Playstation 2 was massive. LittleBigPlanet on the other hand shouldn't be overlooked It continues to accumulate nice sales over a long period of time. I also hope both will continue onto PS4.

And could I suggest you add some nice numbers to this argument to show your point? =) we here LOVE numbers ;) Like, if GoW sold less and less for each new game and LBP sold more and more for each new game.... Right now I'm not too convinced ^^

Iif we wanna be realistic, the only reason LPB sold over 2 million is because of mass bundling, so my point in this thread that we should not judge a franshise by sales if it has a huge advantage like mass bundling.
