Considering Europe's importance for Sony overall, its odd that they are always well behind US and Japan launches. However, I can't see Sony not being able to do a more worldwide launch like MS/Nintendo this time around.
As for the OP, seems plausible to me. Kinda what I've been thinking.. Feb or Mar for private events. Then a little more info in GDC and a whopper of info at E3, followed by launches by November (at the latest).
