Well it is worth it :). And so many are still hoping for a sale on the game on X360 =p.

how much is it on the phone? it's not that cheap on 360 so if it costs as much on phone i would be really surprised about so many sales on phones. if it's cheaper i'm not that surprised, there are probably many crazy guys who own it for console, phone and pc (i own it only for console and pc)

I believe the Pocket Edition for both Android and iOS is $7 each.

Pocket Edition is just insane. No actually, ALL versions are insane. This game will easily sell over 30m combined eventually. Simply amazing, and unprecedented for an indie game (that costs more than a dollar lol).

I like this statement.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

I couldn't agree more. It's an amazing game.

Here's some interesting numbers too, calculated out for the first post numbers. If you just used the raw numbers, multiplied by how much each unit costs per purchase, you get:

PC: $112,592,868.85 ($26.95 a piece)

XBox: $100,047,400 (1600 Microsoft points/$20 a piece)

Mobile: $42,298,089 ($7 a piece)

Total: $253,938,357.85 in the past year.

Obviously that isn't exactly how much they made, but the sheer fact that an indie game could generate this kind of monetary gain is staggering. More power to Mojang and 4J. I hope they can ride this thing for years more, being able to do new updates and what not.

EDIT: Oh, two other things to keep in mind: Current PC sales totals are 8.833m (visible on their page) and the 5.8 million sold in 2012 for PE doesn't even include the three months it was also available in 2011 for total numbers. So, Pez, your assertion that it'll make 30m? Probably a pretty solid guess, I agree.

Indeed. It's likely over 20m already so it might even reach 30m later this year

Wouldn't surprise me. One man Indie game to multi-million dollar phenomenon that fuels two seperate studios.

Well deserved, I'd say.

those numbers are mind boggling, and to think that they get 100% share of the PC sales before tax....

Even with the MS and 4J Studios taking their cuts of the 360 version Mojang still probably earned enough money to fund Psychonauts lol.
