In my opinion, Fallout without question. The writing and the world itself in Fallout are immersive and intriguing. It manages to avoid some of that generic feel that comes with some elements of the Elder Scrolls franchise. I especially love the different factions and companions.

I just really enjoy the atmosphere, as well. It has the 1950's feel, with lounge singers and jingoistic propaganda, but combined with some outlandish, Jules Verne-type technology. I cannot wait for Fallout 4.

Fallout easily.
New Vegas>Fallout 2>Morrowind>Fallout1>Fallout 3>Skyrim>Oblivion>Daggerfall>Arena
Better characters, story, world and game play.

Atto Suggests...:

Book - Malazan Book of the Fallen series

Game - Metro Last Light

TV - Deadwood

Music - Forest Swords

Fallout 1/2.

But I'm guessing you're comparing Fallout 3/NV to ES - they are not bad, but nowhere near originals, so I would go for Morrowind, then Bethesda's Fallout games.

You explained it so much better than I, and I also can't wait for Fallout 4.

Fallout. I couldn't get into, though I'm still trying, Oblivion on PC. New Vegas was bad though IMO.

Fallout 1 Intro Movie:

Elder Scrolls Though I really liked fallout 3, New vagas just put me off! it was just a horrible bug fest and felt like a huge step back from fallout 3.

I have it rated as one of the worst games I've ever played. I had bugs right from the get go.

I remember I was jumping up on some rocks in New Vegas and I got stuck in a jumping motion so I couldn't fast Travel anywhere then the game decided to autosave -___-
