Metro: Last Light Coming This May

Metro: Last Light was originally slated to come out this month, but the game was delayed. It's understandable, considering the upheaval that surrounded the game's development, including the collapse of publisher THQ. Now its new publisher, Deep Silver, has announced that the game is coming out this May.

More specifically, Artyom will continue his subterranean adventures on May 14 in North America, and the rest of the world starting May 17. Publisher Deep Silver says the additional time will go toward adding an additional layer of polish. When developer 4A Games came to our offices a few months ago, they were quite vocal about THQ not providing the studio with the time and resources they needed to optimize the game in its final stretch. Here's hoping their relationship with Deep Silver works better for everyone.

If you'd like to catch up on the game, take a look at our preview and a longer discussion about the series.

Fuse

Fuse Character Trailers Offer Lengthy Look At Gameplay

Four new videos track each of the playable characters in Insomniac’s upcoming shooter, and between them, a clear vision of Fuse’s action emerges.

Electronic Arts and Insomniac are gearing up for the release of Fuse in the coming months. The PS3 and 360 shooter focuses strongly on cooperative play and crazy weapons – the latter of which has been a longtime strength within Insomniac’s games.

The following four trailers each focus on one of the four characters of Overstrike 9: Dalton, Izzy, Jacob, and Naya. The individual trailers each offer a glimpse of the character’s personality and the unique weapon that will set them apart.

Take a look at the videos, and let us know which character you think looks coolest in the comments section.

i guess it seems basic to some. have you seen the videos? the combat comes together perfectly. the chick that turns invisible puts on one hell of a show when fighting. she's like a tekken character.

allot of people don't think insomniac is moving the industry forward with this ip. i think what it is, is that, everything flows together to well. if you watch the trailers you'll see how seemless everything just flows together. even Dalton's main weapon blocked the infrared lasers.

Yeah i watched the videos.  I think the over saturation of shooters is getting to me lol.  idk but i just can't get anticipated for it.  The other probability is EA. I don't really like them that much.  I am gad you are hyped for it though. I may give it a rent as i am saving to buy a PS4 at the moment.

Lost Planet 3

Lost Planet 3's Trailer Provides Glimpse At Human Conflict, Release Date

All Jim Peyton wanted was a steady paycheck for his family. NEVEC seemed like it offered a great opportunity for Peyton, mining energy from planet E.D.N. III. As he soon learns, there are more than just a few strings attached to his contract.

The trailer below show that there's more to this planetary conflict than just man and the insectoid Akrid creatures. A third, human faction called Snow Pirates are in play as well, and Peyton will have to make some difficult decisions as to where his loyalties are. It looks an awful lot like Dances with Wolves, only in robot suits.

In addition to releasing the trailer, Capcom has announced that the game will be coming out June 25 on the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.

Check out our earlier preview of the game for a look at another enemy type, the Firewasp.
