You've never heard of Smosh before?..........

I will admit that was quite good, first time id seen it though.

I know, right? You'd think their marketing team would have realised by now that showing footage of people enjoying a game is the best way to sell things to people who would like to enjoy games.

Well they are popular for a reason.  That video had 31 million views and most of their videos get between 1-8 million views.  I wasn't being sarcastic when I said this is good advertising because the video I posted in the thread will get a lot of views.  It's smosh's game channel so it doesn't get as much views as their main channel but itll most likely get close to 1 million views and when people see someone else having fun they will want to try it too.

A lot of people doesnt even know this game exists.  So far, now 500k more people do know it exists

EDIT:  And you need to realize that games like Minecraft, DayZ, Amnesia, and slenderman literally gained their fame from popular youtubers.

I dont think this is a Sony ad, its just another gaming youtube channel.

lol I know that.  But it's better than any advertisement that sony has done this year.  Personally if it was me id pay youtubers like Tobuscus, Pewdiepie, and Smosh to advertise my game.  Just my opinion though

Aah, Smosh. How I used to love them.

I had the top comment on their Crybaby video for like two years and then somebody knocked me out of the top spot by saying something like "Thumbs up if you don't like the new youtube format" or something.

I heard Vimeo appreciates a higher class of commentator. Youtube folk are too blasé to know a good thing, even after it's gone!
