Well, using that logic this game/franchise can only exist on Wii U - even if it really takes off and becomes a smash hit... It could never appear on another console ever again. :P

OR they can do a "Rambo". What the name of the first Rambo movie? Look it up.

for a game that's supposed to be centered around the gamepad, it seems silly to make a sequel that neglects what the original game was supposed to take advantage of.

sure ubisoft might decide to make the sequel multiplat, or they could re-release the original game on other consoles. whatever the case, it just would not be the same game without the wiiu gamepad. i can't imagine the game being as fun without it.

we aren't talking about a movie, we're talking about a game. making such a parallel is about as ill-founded as what you're accusing my train of thought for, which happens to be a little different than zombiu never appearing on another console again... it's closer to zombiu (the franchise, as i'm pretty sure a sequel is already being worked out) remaining nintendo exclusive.

nevertheless, we'll see!

Oh, I agree that not having the GamePad probably would ruin the game. But what if PS720 also has gamepads similar to Wii U? Or perhaps they could use PS3+Vita? Or it might even work using smartglass.... What do I know? Or perhaps having a touch screen will becoma standard next gen (PS5, Wii U2, xbox4).

But I really, really hope they make a ZombiU2 for Wii U!!

I'm expecting at least one of the PS4 and 720 to have a touchscreen duct-taped to the controller. But if Nintendo has any sense they would have seen that this was going to be a hit as well as a system seller and would have had some sort of exclusivity agreed for the franchise.

Around the Network

Red Steel sold 1.25 million, not 650k. And no, ZombiU is never going to outsell Red Steel.

I hope they do... Could become a great exclusive franchise on Wii U!

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

I am at the buckingham palace, the game is pretty good, actually better than i expacted
its like a 1st person 3D classic Resident evil
the grafix are simle but the visual effects and filters are very good
overall i would give it a 7.5
of course it has a lot of room for improvement
i hope it sells enough to get a bigger sequel
