Fable 2 has vanished from Xbox Live’s ‘games on demand’ service and from Microsoft’s flagship site Xbox.com without a trace. Get the details below.
Gamespot reports on received news tips from gamers who found the game could not be re-downloaded, and that it has disappeared from the Xbox Live service completely. It does remain in users’ download history, but that any any attempt to re-download Lionhead’s game will be met with failure.
If you have the game and either of the Knothole Island and See The Future expansion packs, you can still play them.
We’ve asked Microsoft for comment on the matter but are yet to hear back.

It is good I don't jump that fast. If you read again you will realize that I liked fable 2 a lot, just was very disappointed by 3.
And I lol'd at that meta comment.

I wonder why you can't re-download it. I would be pissed if I bought it and no longer had access. Even other games that went off of XBLA for licensing reasons like Double Dragon, can still be downloaded again if you already bought it.
The joys of DD I guess.
