Guys we have no idea how many people worked on it. For all we know it might have been a small team of like 10 people.

Luminous Studio has 50 people. Of course a FF XV using the engine for example will have several hundred.

Yeah but doesn't that included the people actually working on the engine itself?

I've lost so much respect for square this generation that I don't even bother capitalizing their name or adding the "enix" anymore.

Currently own:

Currently playing: Witcher 3, Walking Dead S1/2, GTA5, Dying Light, Tomb Raider Remaster, MGS Ground Zeros

I don't understand why you guys are upset. Squarepants is so dedicated and ensure that you enjoy the tech demo, they spent an entire year on it. They didn't even ask you for money and all you do is complain complain complain.

Knowing that it took 12 months to make a 4 minute demo doesn't reveal anything. There are far more factors that need to be considered.

-How many people were working on it? 5 or 50+? That makes a huge difference.

-Was the team given 12 months to complete the project? If so, then I don't see why they wouldn't use that whole time to continuously work on improving the demo.

-How long the video is doesn't mean anything. The demo includes numerous art assets. Probably enough for a whole game level or world in which you could spend countless hours in.
