I personally have no interest in Gran Turismo or Forza. I'm more of a Burnout kind of guy. Still, it feels good to see your console of choice has something over somebody else's console. It makes you feel like your team is winning or something.

Many gamers, at least on the internet, associate their console with themselves. Any insult to the console essentially insults them and their tastes.

Exclusive franchises take a similar approach. If the competition scores better or sells better, its a personal insult apparantly.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.
