It isn't a good article, even if we ignore how pointless Metascores are. You didn't make a distinction between retail games and downloadable ones. It's quite apparent that downloadable games are rated on a different scale than retail titles and then there's indie games which are treated even more lenient than the regular downloadable game.

On the plus side, you didn't waste much of your time on it. I've seen much longer articles on Metascores, much more in-depth, but the only thing you can ever take away from them is that reviewers are inconsistent which makes all comparisons pretty much a pointless endeavor.
