If I remember Microsoft posted PR just some days after the Reach launch... I'm waiting the Microsoft PR.

With Microsoft PR I confirmed Reach sold less than Halo 3 at launch even so VGC said otherwise but after one year VGC ajusted the data to fit Microsft PR.

Should be around 900K-1M at the 4days/week1 mark in Europe, so yeah about 800-830K on day one.

If someone like... Ooh I dunno... Me, came in a PS3 game thread and did that, I'd be reported and banned within 30 seconds. 

Thats because these Halo 4 sales are so good the comment can't be anything but sarcasm... Any PS3 exclusive would sell less but sometimes have decent sales so a comment like that would definitely seem like trolling.

No he generally just uses external direct sources such as the developers and manufacturers shipping figures then comments on the accuracy of figures on the site.  It makes perfect sense to use as many sources as possible as he tries to.  I don't always agree with his interpretation but he's not one of the posters on the site that is prone to much cherry picking of data.

What do people think of the European numbers? I found that most my friends are all COD peeps. Lots of people only have an Xbox 360 to play COD and that's it!

Shame Europe doesn't really love Halo.
