Personally, I adore all five of them. Ten years from now, I can still see myself playing all of them.

Overall, however, my favourite is still Combat Evolved. The single player campaign alone was worth spending $500 on an Xbox back in 2001. "The Silent Cartographer" and "Assault on the Control Room" back-to-back remains my favourite moment of any FPS. And the multiplayer was even better! I'll never forget the hours I spent playing co-op with my cousin and the system link parties at my friends' houses.

On topic: They are all great, but I will give my vote to Halo: CE. My first playthrough of that game was one of the greatest gaming experiences I have ever had. I still play it regularly, and as proven by Halo: CEA it does stand the test of time amazingly.


All games in order: Halo: CE > Halo 3 > Halo 2 > Halo: Reach > Halo 3: ODST

They are all obviously above 8/10 though.

Halo: CE still reigns supreme. I'm afraid I haven't played Reach yet, so that might change, but I'd be shocked if it did.
