Kaos studios who made Homefront already closed it doors after making the game despite it selling over a million. Homefront 2 has been handed over to Crytek (developers of Crysis amoung others) to develop the sequel.
Now I don't want to be a debby downer but I really enjoyed Homefront's multiplayer. It did so many things right that many other mainstream shooters don't. The original's graphics were nothing spectacular and the story was sub-par but the MP was fantastic. I know Crytek can deliver on graphics but their multiplayer have not been anything mind-blowing from my perspective. I just hope that they can do HF2 justice in its main aspect, which is MP.
