Forums - Gaming - Have any of you ever bought a PSN card and it didn't work?

I recently bought a PSN card(they gave it to me on the receipt not the actual card if that makes a difference) from Gamestop and when i put in the code to redeem the money i got "this code is either invalid or has already been used." At first i said ok so i tried it again still nothing. Tried it again still nothing! -_-

Gamestop....they probably gave you a used card.

I used maybe 4or5 ones for the psn.
Always worked thx god ... never had any problems with the ms and wii points either.

I still couldnt believe it was possible then i searched it up on google and it has happened to others but what im planning to do is go back to the same Gamestop and ask them for another one (I was gonna go back today but it was closed already =(.

Perhaps they forgot to scan it?

I have a friend who used a quarter and scratched the code so hard it ripped right through the paper, making the card useless - was damn funny.

It was as if the code was burned off. Quite the accomplishment.
