Gotcha.  As I said, this girl told me it was acid, I don't know what it was, but it wasn't good.  I have tried a lot of stuff (Coke, Opium, Shrooms, Pills, Robo, etc) and never had an experience like that one.  I smoked salvia once, but I only got wierd for like 15 minutes.  Again, I don't know too much about acid, just those two experiences (or in what you are telling me about, one), the second we dropped tabs, as is normal.  

The craziest thing I ever did was DMT, every thought was like a revelation, and I discovered the Peanut Butter and Cinnamon Sugar Sandwich during, so it was amazing.  

I'd rather just smoke or drink, but smoking doesnt give me hangovers, which is nice. 

No but it is the one thing I would be interested in trying under controlled conditions (since it wouldn't be harmful). Since that will never happen I won't.

I would never condone doing something as powerful as LSD to just anyone. It's the most potent drug known to man, and should be treated as such, and it's not for everyone and certainly shouldn't be done on a whim.

That said, experiencing it in nature with friends combined with music can be a pleasantly indescribable experience. My thoughts on LSD (and psilocybin) is that since you're essentially poisoning yourself, your body reacts as if it believes it's going to die, which is why you basically have an "out of body" type experience. Of course everyone can react differently to drugs, but for me, it really provided insight that there's more to our consciousness and existence than we normally think.

I respect you a tad more for that. Have you quit smoking?

I'm sorry you feel that way but I personally believe that there are psychological reasons, such as depression and insecurity, behind not taking drugs in moderation.

Good observation, the threads like this here are always limited by viewpoints of gaming enthusiasts and other places have a bigger spectrum of people that do different things in life.Even though we are limited for the most part, the people that have done it all seem to have had very unique experiences and are obviously not prisoners or junkies and most admit the substance is very powerful and should not be taken lightly. The bad thing is when peoples knowledge only comes from government propaganda and not from knowledge gained from life experience and education.
